Daniel Owsiejewicz

Daniel OwsiejewiczDaniel was born in 1983 in Suresnes and grew up in Paris, a city he likes very much. At the Pierre et Marie Curie University, he started his studies with a Bachelor in Electronic Engineering. Then he moved on to do his Master in Nano Electronic (oriented in the fabrication and characterisation techniques for nanostructures), which he finished at the Orsay University in September 2006.

At the end of the first year of the Master, Daniel had the opportunity to do an internship on magnetic sensors in the Forschungzentrum Juelich, Germany where one paper was published. The following year, he spent 6 months as a trainee in Electrical characterization and reliability of novel high-k dielectric layers at Philips Research in Leuven, Belgium.

To discover the exciting world of the NanoBioTechnology, Daniel decide to start a Ph.D in the Ben Gurion University of the Negev within the NASCENT network on the generation and the observation of Molecularly Imprinted Polymer nanostructures using near-field microscopic techniques.
